· Scope and Content	The Administration: General series is comprised of five files and covers the years 1955-1964. The files include correspondence on aid to Egyptian Jewry prior to the Suez Crisis, cables and correspondence on the development of the pressure on Egyptian Jews in late 1956, correspondence and reports on the situation of the Jews in Egypt and cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross to aid them. One file contains a copy of a private scheme to enable the liquidation of property in Egypt.
