Description	The sign hanging on the wall of the Jewish library in the Federation of Jewish Societies building. La Federation des Societes Juives de France in a meeting in Paris was founded in 1913 for Jewish immigrant communities to France. During the war the society went underground and provided false papers to many Jewish refugees. They established an absorption center in the Italian occupied territory of France, funded youth groups, and smuggled Jewish children out of France.
