This 10 year old Jewish youngster hammers tin cans ten hours a day six days a week for a wage of a few pennies an hour. To give tens of thousands of Jewish youngsters like this the chance to learn a useful trade, the JDC has undertaken a broad child-welfare program, emphasizing educational and vocational training along with medical and feeding programs. | |||
