Description	A group of young French Jewish refugees and orphans rescued from internment camps by the JDC, waiting on the docks of Lisbon for transport to the U.S. via steam ship. Some of the children wear American Friends Service Committee id badges. JDC collaborated with AFSC often during this period, particularly to help Jewish refugees in Germany, Austria, Czechoslovakia, and France.
