Description | Two young Jewish survivors on a special JDC transport of TB and post TB refugees from German DP Camps, en route to Norway for permanent resettlement. Both survivors of the notorious Auschwitz extermination center, where they lost their entire families, these young DP's met in an AJDC-supported tuberculosis sanatorium. Shortly after they completed treatment and vocational rehabilitation in Germany, they boarded the AJDC transport for Norway. | |||
