Description | A couple in their new home in Norway. They were transported out of German DP camps to Norway on a special JDC transport for TB and post TB patients. Norway was one of the few countries to accept them for permanent resettlement after a special agreement was reached with JDC. This was part of JDC's intensive campaign to empty the remaining Jewish DP camps and bring the DP camp era to a close. | |||
